Personally I prefer the original 1983 version but in retrospect, the reworked '85 version is catchy. Anyone gotz?[8)]

Here you go, as promised, 1985 version of KISS ME... and hearing it again makes me wonder...who sounds more like The Monkees' Davy Jones, Stephen Duffy, or Ian Broudie from The Lightning Seeds? Which also remionds me, The NEW Monkees? How bad an idea was that? Now THAT'S obscure 80s.

LOL! You're right, he does sound quite different..

Given that, it wouldn't be much of a stretch to imagine Neil Tennant being a stand in vocalist on this version!

Borrowed Nostalgia for the Unremembered 80's

I recorded it in stereo, it's just that vinyl + 1985 isn't the best combination.

Here are a couple of additional version, one is marked "1983 remix" - I think I ripped that one - I apologize for the slightly "muddy" sound. My equipment isn't the greatest.
