I had to fill in tonight in the Retro room at the club I work at, and was gonna throw down Eon "Spice", until I realized the cd that it was supposed to be on was missing! Does anyone have any mixes of that handy???

You're welcome. I kinda think of 90's techno as an extension of 80's electropop and i thought it was more interesting and fun than grunge... Hey, as a retro dj, you wouldn't happen to have a copy of Lies by Ben Steele would you? The original, not the John Bice remix...

Nope, don't have it, sorry man. And yeah, early 90s retro like Eon and the like is what I like to call "80s Overflow", should've-could've come out in the 80s but didn't.

Yeah, all those bands making fun noises: Eon, Bigod-20, 808state, Underworld, the Orb, Orbital, Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Future Sound of London...

I'm dying for the days when they do early 90s retro techno at the clubs. There were some great music back then.
PS. I was really happy when I found the CD5 of Spice/Inner Mind at a used store for $1.50. That and Stakker Humanoid 92, plus a whole crapload of other stuff. [:D]
