Anybody have anything from the Plimsouls self-titled album or their "Zero Hour" EP? They're no longer available on CD. Thanks!

Rhino had a really good cd with all that stuff out a few years ago called The Plimsouls Plus. I'd be surprised if they weren't still offereing it on their web site.

Wow, this is really unconscionable...I scanned varous music sites, and sure enough, Plimsouls Plus with the EP version of Zero Hour and other bonus tracks is not available anymore. I just can't imagine such a great piece of music being out of print! This looks like a job for The Ideal Copy!

Here's "Now", perhaps the most exhuberant song ever written. I still remember my buds and I hanging out at the fire pits on Bolsa Chica Beach, listening to the casette and trying to sing along to the fast chorus part:
They'll never take this night away
It's yours and mine until the day
It's all right for one night.
We'll never have this chance again
So love me now and we'll pretend
It's all right for one night right now
I'm pretty sure we were wearing Ray-Bans...at night. [:D]

Um, can I take this time to gush once again about their great SXSW concert? And about how I just about hyperventilated as they ripped into How Long Will It Take? And the playlist I got signed by Eddie Munoz and Peter Case? [:p]

Beautiful rip SS! Much nicer than mine. But is the audio mono/left track only or is it just me?

It's left and right, but ShittioPC relegates most of it to left. Nothing I can do about that -- well, except get a better vidcap device.

BTW, I just listened to their '98 Kool Trash revival album. Jeez, why haven't I pulled this out of stack the last couple fo years. Hadn't even ripped it into my library. It's a righteous rocker. Did anyone else pick this up?

I picked up all their CDs. Well, I picked up four of them. I think that's all of them.
"Playing with Jack" is the obvious highlight. The rest I can take or leave. Still, better than a lot of 1990s comeback albums, that's for sure.

Zero Hour is one of those tracks that I can loop 10 times and not get tired of it. Its pop perfection!
