Here is a mixed cd I made back in Jan of this year (I re-ripped it to 1 track for downloading). Anyway, it's NEW REMIXES of OLD SONGS, some from the 90s, and some from the 80s, so technically, it's not all new wave, but it has VERY obscure bootlegs/white labels of some great club classics.
When Doves Cry, White Horse, some Midnight Star, EW&F, Don't Stop Til You Get Enough, and the most interesting one for this forum, "That Smiths Tune" remixed by CRISP BISCUIT.

No, it is the same concept, but much nicer. Didnt that one in Houston close down? I went to the one in FT Worth on Saturday Night, the "retro" room there could use some help, their DJ didn't even mix ONE song the whole night, but he didnt really need to, it was a very pop/trash disco venue, not really my taste.

who knows, your right it was trash but i moved 5 years ago. We would go every now and then for the piano bar but that was really it.

I mean the format in Ft Worth at that City Streets was trash, the one in houston on the other hand, had a great 80s room. That guy kept me on the floor for an hour, he was playing Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, etc, it was great, but it was a long time ago. The one in Ft Worth this weekend was just very BUBBLEGUM, ya know.

Ok, back to this cd, anyone have any comments, complaints? Because I have even another one that is the same format(vol 35), old songs, new mixes.
