I would be extremely grateful if anybody could sort me out with these 2 12" remix versions:

Paula Abdul - Rush Rush (The extended mix) 7 mins long(ish)?

Gloria Estefan - 1,2,3 (Extended remix)

I've got the originals of both but would luurve to get the 12's.

Thanks..

PAULA F&*KING ABDUL AND GLORIA F&*KING ESTEFAN?!!!!!! [:(!] Jesus Christ, is there no f&*king decorum around here anymore?! To get away from absolute shit like this is why I come to the NEW WAVE Outpost! Granted, it's not for me to say (sorry MikeP) and this is strictly my opinion, but what the F&*K with the humongous steaming piles of SHIT being requsted here lately?!!!! F&*K!

Wow!! The bar is now set low enough that I can ask for "Born To Be Alive" by Patrick Hernandez, without fear of ridicule.[}:)][:(!]

The Outpost is quickly becoming a trough.

Thanks a lot Edward Woodward.

I guess now would be the wrong time to request "Hip to be Square" by Huey Lewis?

Then don't f**king say it...problem solved.

They're two remixes that I happen to like among OTHER stuff that you may approve of (not that I care).

Alternatively, you could skip the bastard topic altogether you crackhead.
6400 no issue with that..
A year ago the posting traffic this forum was but a mere fraction of what it is now.

Which is fine..

However, some folks here have made requests and posted shares for some material that clearly does not fall under the general criteria set forth in the forum header:

Discussions about CD-R and MP3 trading, recording vinyl to CD/MP3, and our Obscure80's archive of music.
TIP: Try to avoid requesting songs easily found on CD - this will generally be perceived as an annoyance to others on the board. Try a P2P network instead.

Obviously, the occasional request for a NNW, mainstream, or oddball tune can and will be overlooked. But more recently, the flurry of requests/shares has strayed quite outside of the definition of what constitutes "Obscure 80's"

In the future, let's just consider if one's request(s)/share(s) is truly in keeping with the spirit of this particular forum..Ok?

That's what I said! [}:)]

Okay, I said it like a twat. I'm sure Equalizer's a fine guy...just the last person to step thru the door and onto the flaming bag of poo. Oh well.

Cheers.

Sorry to admin/other users for any offence, it was just that those REMIXES while perhaps not fitting in with the 'spirit' of this room have so far eluded me and I wondered if any 80's heads on here might be able to help, having exhausted the p2p route(s)....
I'll put this one down to my 'newbness' and forget about it!

More effort to keep posts within the bounderies of the forum will be observed from now on - honest!
