Oh come on Frank.... are you kidding me? I can't find this crap anywhere! As far as I know, it's rare and on vinyl only and it's from 88? I mean okay so it's UK pop 80s trash from a tv show and not new wavey enough but if anyone's going to have something random it's gonna be here. It's not like I could go down to the store and buy this frank, or I would (and waste my money lol). I mean I'm not one of those jackasses that's gonna ask someone to send me DM - SOFAD or D^2 - Rio or something. There's a lot more irrelevant requests than this one, cut me some slack yo [xx(]

It's been available on enough CD compilations over the years, from the Now series to any comedy music collections.

When it comes to choosing in relevence between this and Paula Adbul, I'd choose the former. This is why Mike wanted this type of posts curbed, it doesn't have any connection with the period of time on which the forum operates. Maybe someone will e-mail this to you to so it doesn't have to appear here.

Haha, sorry frank. I really had no clue it'd been on any comps anywhere anytime ... being a 20 year old USA spawn of satan really has its downsides sometimes, haha.

you have a good point though. i agree. i really didn't intend on going against mike's regulations, i understand the importance of keeping this forum centered on it's intended genres/timespans and how essential that is to it's livelyhood and protetion from all the issues that could arise.

And there are more than a few people on this board who may appreciate this song. It's certainly more 'new wave' than Paula Abdul!

And Frank probably has heard this song so many times while some of us Americans have only ever heard it once or twice (if even that)..

Spaz, it's not the number of times I hear it that's the problem (nearly all comedy songs have a short shelf life) it's just the lack of relevence it has to this section that concerns me. Nothing that comes from the period of Stock, Aitken and Waterman can really be classed as 'New Wave'.

Dead Or Alive, as much as I dislike them, come from the Stock, Aitken Waterman hit factory as does Bananarama (at least the later '80s albums)...

And yes, when I was referring to the amount of times you've heard it, I was taking into account that it is a novelty record and and 50 times may be 48 times too many. I was actually sympathizing with you over that. I don't know how many times you've heard Weird Al songs, but to some of us U.S. folk, hearing them again would make our heads explode!

I've got quite a few Weird Al albums and "Bad Hair Day" gets listened to occasionally. Looking forward to his new CD, will get it when it becomes cheap.
