Seeing a request for the Lightning Seeds (that I cannot fulfill-knowing me as we all do I tend to steer clear of extended mixes and such) made my mind wander. Lightning Seeds mean Ian Broudie means Original Mirrors means Steve Allen means Deaf School. Catch That?

Anyway-those underappreciated but ahead of their time folks in Deaf School (which included Bette Bright by the way ) had a great 1st lp and two not as good follow ups. Here is one tune from the 1st lp

Deaf School got released as a 2CD set that includes all 3 LP's plus bonus material. Always liked them.

The Original Mirrors CD that includes both LP's is out of print, but well worth seeking out.
