This is none other than Dean Johnson, who is still very active in the East Village scene. He is not only a musican and lead singer (for his band the Velvet Mafia), but a producer as well. He is famous for his Rock n Roll Fag Bar nights, which featured queer punk and rock acts and outrageous performance artists, which then became Homocorps, at CBGBs - which has become more divers musically with people like Rufus Wainwright, even Carol Channing! You can't miss him, he is 6'6", and looks quite scary in drag. You can see him do this song in the video "mondo new york", great video if you can find it...
