Passion Puppets

I'm looking for anything by the Passion Puppets. In particular, I'm looking for Beyond the Pale as well as Like Dust...especially EXTENDED versions of the songs.

Frank -

Yep, and Hardest Hits Vol 1 is long out of print. Not available on Amazon, eBay, or Musicstack. Gemm has a copy for $287.50.

I think anything EXTENDED by Passion Puppets would qualify as hard to find and long out of print.

Once again...anyone? Extended songs by Passion Puppets? Anyone? Beuller?

To my knowledge, they are importing the U.S. version from Almacantar Records. You may want to buy from them directly...

The reason why I posted it is that the Turkey Zone specialises in Stiff re-releases so that I thought it was one of theirs. Still, I'll confirm this when it comes.

If you don't mind not having the disk in hand, it is on iTunes (US) and eMusic.

The catalogue # is right on the website.

http://www.theturkeyzone.com/acatalog/P ... ppets.html

It's the Almacantar release.

You could have saved a few pence ordering directly through them.

Turkey Zone - £9.99 + £1.00 S&H = £10.99
Almacantar - $12.99 + $5.95 UK S&H = $18.94 (£10.31)

Although if TZ gives a flat shipping rate for anything you can shove into a box, maybe you did getter the better deal.

I was more interested in ordering the CD rather than checking the catalogue number. Still, if you're more interested in those than the CD then that's your look-out.

TZ are based in England as am I and it would of made more sense to use them even if they were more expensive as the delivery would of been faster rather than wait around for a couple of weeks for the sake of a few pence.

That's all well and good, but doesn't really change the fact that this CD -- which is Almacantar's not Turkey Zone's, in case you feel I just point out catalogue numbers for my health -- was released four months ago. We all got the memo, thanks.

Almacantar's flaws are many, but one thing I'll give them is really fast shipping. I don't know what U.S. retailers you've bought from where it takes a couple of weeks to arrive, but my recent purchases from the U.K. (shipped airmail) arrived in a week or less. Ditto the things I've sold there. I've had things shipped within the U.S. take longer. But, fair enough. Last time I try to play good samaritan.

If we all got the memo then where was mine? [;)]

And if you did know then why keep the info for yourself instead of sharing with the rest of us so we could all enjoy it?

The info was from the Turkey Zone mailing list last week which is where I first heard about it so posted it on here; if one person got any use from it then great, if not c'est la vie.

The CDs arrived two days after ordering which is pretty good going.
You seem to use the same US retailors as I do as I find things shipped from them take longer to arrive than the UK sellers as well! [;)]

If being pedantic and looking for the negative is your definition of being a good samaritan then you must have the George. W. Bush version of the Webster dictionary..
