Here is a little known track from the early 80s. I picked up this '45 in a shop in Montreal (Dutchys) - back then, that place was agold mine for imports. They had literally thousands of import LPs, 12 inches and 45's galore. It was mind boggling what they carried. Sadly, those days are long gone for them. Last time I was there in 2001, I did manage to pick up about ten LP's/12 inches from the 80s that were left over from their glory days, but it was clear they were struggling, or at least it seemed so to me.

Grunch! What an awesome song. Thanks for posting it. Dutchys sounded like a great place.

Sadly, Dutchy's is kaput. It was Disquivel last time I was Montreal way.

That does not surprise me. Last there, it was almost vacant of any customers, and had little stock.
On the up side, if you go to Montreal, you must make the required trek to Schwartz's for their meat plates???? Man, it was ritual for us to hit the shops, and concerts, and Schwartz's. There was almost always a line to get in to this little mecca of stomach-pleasin'jewish delights. The meat plates are to die for - perhaps literally, they cannot possibly be good for you...well, not in the volumes we consumed anyway!! And they people that worked there....family.....made the visits fun also.
