well...what can I say...know most of you are prob chuckling (and understandably), but...I had a hankering to hear TOMMY, JUDY and ME...
Ok...this certainly IS obscure; came out in 1980 or 1981...it's def a love it or hate it...was hoping that somebody here might have a rip of this....somebody???

I'm originally from NYC (Staten Island) and soon to be returning again I'm happy to say (Westchester and that area) and, you know..
I forget which station it was..maybe..99X ...around there..
and they used to have a "Most Requested" every night, and THAT SONG, for the LONGEST time was a #1 Most Requested...
It's very silly/bubblegumm-ish...that's what made it so great..
He (Rob Hegel) was known more as a songwriter I believe, and tried as a follow-up with "We're Lovers After All", but...no dice...in fact, you're right..MOST of the album I remember being pretty bad..
BIG thanks to you again.

I don't have the album yet. Just a 7" of "TJ&M." So I wouldn't be the expert to ask on what the rest of it sounds like. As far as the hit, I don't think there's anything to be ashamed of. Always reminded me of Genesis, anyway.
I'm told it got a lot of airplay on the East Coast, but I didn't live in the U.S. in 1980.
