The Mod Fun - Hope It's Today

Here is another one of those relatively obsucre 80s groups that flew pretty much under the radar while recording some little gems in the genre of paisley pop-neopsychedic sometimes similar to The Three O'Clock. Their material actually made it to CD and may still be around here and there.

Saw these guys at The Cavern Club (at Hollywood Blvd. and Cahenga) when they hit Los Angeles on their road tour from New Jersey... gig never really got going as a Mod vs Skinhead fight broke out over Skins trying to stop the show... too bad, as they "rocked the house!"

Go to their webside for more (free) downloads at: http://www.modfun.com/

They are re-formed and out touring/playing gigs, so if you can stand the teenie-bopper Mod scene, go out and catch them, go ahead, don't worry, there'll probally be some of us old farts in the crowd! [;)]
