This is a more pop-sounding Comateens, from 1981, and as far as I know, it only appeared on CD on some French label in the early 90's.

I think you are correct. That french Best of is great, featuring some later recordings that are superb, even though they don;t sound much like classic Comateens.
When will their 3 LP's get a CD release???????????????????????? They are sorely overdue.
Guess we'll see the re-re-re-re-re-re-remastered remasters of the remastered Best of 80s Top 10 Hits before we see the Comateens.......look ma, another 80s hits collection, but this time I Ran is track 5, I've never bought a best of with it as track 5, I must have......
