from Ms Wilson around in Japan somewhere?
Does anyone know anything about WAVE records in Japan?

On VERY RARE occasions I've found Mari on LimeWire...
I think the LP was called "Showpeople"-- there is a "mastered from LP" version kicking around on Google for the unstellar price of $35, so my best guess is gonna be a sad "no."
Sigh. Just What I Always....Wanted!

The album itself might not be on CD, but all the tracks from it have been on CD afaik. There are a couple on the Great Expectations label. One on Mantra and a few Japanese collections. All way out of print.
Still a reissue with bonus mixes would be nice.

Funny you ask this....
I just put together a CD-R for a buddy of mine taking songs off the existing compilation CDs and used the UK lP running order (i tacked on a few bonus tracks as well)
I've always loved her stuff....and she worked with great people like Tot Taylor, Tony Mansfield, etc.

a few years ago, i saw her in a musical about dusty springfield - she was very, very good as dusty!

There are two CDs with her earlier material released on the Great Expectations label and as far as I know sold through Vinyl Japan.
The one I have, "Just What I always Wanted", is a collection of her songs from that album period and includes b-sides as far as I can tell.
Paid £36 on Ebay for the CD and it's very good, one of my better purchases.
