The song used to get play on KROQ with the chorus:
"Whiskey makes me frisky,
Gin makes me sin,
Brandy makes me randy
and rum makes me......"
I'd love the band name and if anyone has the track I'd be much obliged. Thanks in advance!!!

Hi! I think the band was The Slits (from U.K.), an all-girl punk/oi-type of sounding group. Later, the bass player Paula was in the third-wave ska band: Potato 5, and the other women was in the ska band The Del Tones. I think this is correct, I have The Slits on LP, not listened in a looooong time... or maybe the band's name was The Gin Slits... now I must go through my albums to really find out... augh! Hoped I helped. _G
Ok, thought it over... the bands name is: The Gins (for sure this time!)

Thanks! I've searched everywhere and I can't find anything on them (The Gins). I checked gemm.com, eBay, Amazon, etc and nada. Anyone have this track? I'm pretty sure I used to own a complete album by them (import) so I'm hoping I wasn't the only one!

Right The Gymslips, an import album... I picked it up used for a few bucks in some bin somewhere... I only bought it because I know Paula.
I was a on Gin kick then (brain-fart moment), like gin-slits, the gins, the slits--only came close; however, others have better memories than I have (at least right now!)
