Squire's version of the Big Star classic is pretty much a note-for-note copy but at least you can't fault their taste in covers. By the way, The Bangles also do a decent version of the song.

Thanks sooo much UNGAURDED....I have the 12" of this and it's quite an annoying version (the 80's cut and paste technique) and it goes on and on and on ---this 7" version is juuussst right! P.S. a scooter buddy of mine was the head of the Anthony Meynell/Squire (sp?) fan club in the US. in 1983/84
