I am looking for this O Positive track whose title I cannot recall. It's very jangly, and in the lyrics he sings about this girl's eyes having frames. The lines were like, "the frames from your eyes," or something like that. I haven't heard it since college radio around late 1987 to early 1988. It used to get played on KUPS-FM in Tacoma.

I like O POSITIVE Mike![8D] I bought a compilation cassette tape around 1988 so I was introduced to their music. Cool sound and guitar-driven rhythm but sadly no songs from them were introduced here in MANILA during the NEW WAVE HEYDAYS. [;)]

There's no such thing as "college radio" in the Philippines, if that'll help clear any misunderstandings about genre definitions between countries. In America, New Wave was considered dead by 1984-1985 because many of the "Rock of the '80s" formats had folded by then and only college radio continued to program alternative music. What was relegated to low-watt campus stations here -- Lloyd Cole & the Commotions, the Go-Betweens, the Woodentops, the Mighty Lemon Drops, the House of Love, the Chameleons, etc -- was played on New Wave radio stations in the Philippines with universal staples the Cure and Depeche Mode. It's all the same to me, all those acts coming from post-punk and shared indie affiliations, anti-commercial stands, and creative inspirations. O Positive would've fit right in.
