I'm looking for the Cucumbers "My Boyfriend". The original version. Not the re-recorded version from '87 (although that will do in a pinch).

Cool--I've never heard this song or of the group before now, and I really like it a lot.[8D]
I like both versions, but I think I lean more towards the old version (alternating boy and girl vocals). This older version sounds more lo-fi, like something the K Record label (from Olympia, WA) would've put out in the late 80s or the early 90s. Nifty!

The EP was originally released on Fake Doom records, and the band is from NJ
I agree that the earlier version is a lot better
