Smiths request

at first you'll jump on me for asking for a readily available song...but hear me out. i'm looking for Please Please Let Me Get What I Want....but the original version. On every Smiths CD i've searched for, and even on iTunes, all i get is the acoustic one, now i'm not ragging on the acoustic version, it's a good version, but i'd much rather prefer listening to the original, the ermmm studio version. If you can't post it, fine, just lemme know where i can purchase it, cuz it's becoming damn near impossible to look for it.

Im pretty sure I have that from a couple of different CDd... Ill pull it up from my home computer tonight if someone else doesnt have it more handy..

I'd be interested too as that I have two versions by The Smiths, one from the Best of and one from Ferris Bueller's Day Off. They are both 1:53 minutes long. Also, there are two awesome versions done by the Dream Academy (one with vocals and one without.)

Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want (written by Morrissey and Johnny Marr and originally performed by The Smiths) is a single by The Dream Academy.

The instrumental version of the song is the better known version, since it was used in the film Ferris Bueller's Day Off (during the Art Gallery scene) along with "The Edge of Forever". The single wasn't originally included in their debut album, The Dream Academy but later appeared in the compilation album, Somewhere in the Sun... Best of the Dream Academy.
