Who had the DAC on their blog? I saw it and wanted to let my friend hear them for a laugh, but I can't remember who had it.

Thanks

It was/is on my blog, but due to complaints (some folks at Multiply didn't see the humor in DAC's work)I made it unviewable except to my multiply contacts (otherwise my blogsite would have been marked as a "adult" site and viewable to only my contacts anyways). Just sign up for a multiply blog, give me an invite to be one of your contacts, and it'll be viewable. I know that may be more than you're willing to go through over a few filthy songs, but I'd like to keep my blog.

I had heard about teh DAC albums for years, probably since 1979. When ebay first started I was finally able to get one of the 2 "adult" albums for $75. Its the most I've ever paid for a piece of vinyl. At the time it was worth it, now I'm not so sure.

I have been collecting "porno country" for about the last 8 years. There's alot more out there than you would think, but none of it is very good.

My buddy went with one of his friends to see him here in Louisville a few years ago. He stood out like a tird in a punch bowl, being that he is Puerto Rican amongst a sea of red necks. He still gets a laugh out of it today.

Isn't this that racist redneck who sings about lynching black people and beating up gays?

Nope. That's the redneck who sings about his wife running off with a black guy because the black guys ding dong is bigger than his, and he's the redneck that sings about how Anita Bryant (a former Ms. America and anti-gay rights activist) should be thrown in prison so that she'll learn firsthand all the benefits of the homosexual lifestyle.

You must have heard of Johnny Rebel and mixed him up with DAC.

Johnny Rebel was a guy in the 60's that wrote/sang pro KKK songs. If that is your style of humor they are really funny. If that is your style of politics you really shouldn't be on this board.

I heard them once, never felt the need to hear them again.

Has anyone heard Rebel Meets Rebel? It's David Allan Coe backed by Pantera (really). It's actually pretty damned good.
