Depeche Mode question

Somewhere on my work's shared itunes network someone has an ep of early Depeche Mode songs called "Television Set". Tracks are:

Television Set
Addiction
Reason Man
Tomorrows Dance
I Like It
The Price Of Love

Since this is itunes there's no way for me to get the tracks on my ipod. Does anyone have these that they can UL for me? I would be forever grateful.

Those would be the songs they did in their previous incarnation as Composition of Sound. These songs (to the very best of my knowledge) were never officially recorded in the studio. The only recordings exist as a live bootleg that someone took way back when and they're pretty bad. Still, for the DM completist, they are a fascinating treasure to behold. Check your inbox, Ollie. I just sent them over.

Hi Marv, I'm on your guestlist, would you be willing to post them there? I d/l your Depeche Mode Remixes a couple of weeks ago... I have some re-mixes you might be interested to post on your Multipy site for the other fans of DM here at the NWO to "listen" to, as well as those from Composition of Sound.

OK, I just listened to the songs marvymarv sent and they are the same songs but not the same versions. The ones that are floating around my workplace network are definately studio quality.

I've got a secret agent snooping around trying to find out who owns the "Moozakk" shared folder. If I can get a copy I will definately post.

Thanks Marv ---- not bad songs really, and extremely early Depeche sounding (in the vein of 'Ice Machine')....the live quality is quite bad (but I aint complaining) --- would be nice to have the studio versions...I wonder how much that original 7" goes for ?(that does exist right?) --the track: 'I like it' was obviously recorded at an early Depeche gig? ---that has the best sound quality anyway-again --thanks Marvy

Thanks for the zip file Marvy!

I've got this one:

Composition Of Sound - Ghost Of Modern Time - Track 05

http://download.yousendit.com/7E170B0037F3E430

I didn't see this song listed, I got it from LimeWire, said it was track 5, also got Television Set at that time as track 3, none of which checks out to Ollie's post... maybe another release??? [?]

Check your e-mail for that DM list I sent you. [:)]

Just bumping, want to know if this is another song, or just the title is mislabeled?? Have not unzipped Marvy's file yet... TIA! _G

Speaking of DM...

Does anyone have the Oberkorn extended version? It was a b-side that was also available through the singles box sets.

There is some digital garbling in the master that I made. I'll try again in the future to see if I can get a better rip, but this is as best as I could do for now.

You can get the Box Sets at Amazon at very reasonable cost:

edit: Ollie.....that's not the Mode. Still, I did want these tracks though. Thanks [;)] Gimme some time to do some research. I read about this at one time. Need to dig up that web page again.

So what does everyone think of Martyr?

Hey Marv:

Sorry a bit off topic.

You being the resident Depeche Mode expert, I was wondering if you had an mp3 of the "Strangemix" Depeche Mode Megamix? I had it on vinyl at one time, sadly my vinyl is long gone... I can't seem to find it anywhere?!?

Thanks in advance.
