Ran across this song from The Swinging Erudites (Boston band-mid 80's) called The Captain & Tenille Meet Joy Division (Love Will Keep Us Together) which will probably irritate all the JD fans (and was also probably a lot funnier back in the 80's):

Coop, you didn't happen to run across any other Swinging Erudites songs, did you? I've been looking for "Yuppie Man" for a while.

I just found the Pretentious Crapola LP and they are on another comp I have doing the Beatles Yesterday, i don't see that song though, sorry
