Looking for Pink Military Peel sessions

Postby zealamb » Sat Dec 09, 2006 3:46 pm

Hi everybody,
I just found this forum and I thought I would give it a try; I've been looking for these songs for ages...

I'm looking for the two Peel sessions made by "Pink Military" of "Do animals believe in God" fame. Here are the tracklists:

14/11/1979 - Pink Military
TRACKLIST
* Wild West
* Did You See Her?
* Stand Alone

27/05/1980 - Pink Military
TRACKLIST
* Everyday
* Pilgrim Forest
* Dance Of The Waning Moon

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Ciao

Sorry, I don't have any of those. I do have Pink Military's album version of "I Cry" though. If you are interested, just shoot me an e-mail.

Cheers.

I really do like Pink Military's "did you see her"? A solid song. Pink Industry's tunes are okay, but Did you See Her stands out from all of them.

No problem. Sent today to both of you. [:)]

It's actually not a favorite track of mine, but the only Pink Military tune I have.

Thanks man, I just got it. Did Pink Military(not Industry) release a full album ever?

I think they released an EP in 1979 . . . can't recall the title right now however. Then they released one studio album in 1980 called "Do Animals Believe in God?" before Jayne Casey changed the line-up and reformed as Pink Industry.

Hmmm. That's strange. I sent it to your e-mail address that you listed. Oh well, let's do it this way:

Is this a harsh quote?
I just entered the outpost, I was away during the weekend and my internet connection is part of a special programm which offers me some hours free, as long as I don't use the connection earlier than 14:00 p.m each day...Now it is 14:10.
I hope you didn't think I grabbed your offer without thanking you, I always do.
Euharisto anyway.Thank you!

(and to explain properly, your e-mail arrived, I first replied to the address you sent me from,thanking you, but when I tried to enter the mail again to download the track it was gone. A "postmaster's message"informed me that my answer was not delivered.I thought it would be easier to ask you to send it to me once more, than to tell you all these boring things...So, I guess after all these, you won't be angry with me anymore. Not a problem. Certainly not angry. Glad you finally received it. Hope you enjoyed the track . . . it's actually not a favorite one of mine; an OK song, but doesn't do too much for me.

Cheers.

Zealamb, I have found the following, at Soulseek:

- did you see her?
- do animals beleive in god ?
- dreamtime

I guess you are not looking for them,as I think they are album versions, but if you do, look there or I can send them to you if you don't have any chance...

thanks Bob but I already have all their official releases. I was looking for the peel sessions (which seem unavailable anywhere). Strange as it may seem, anyway, their only lp "Do animals believe in God" has never been published on cd

Thanks again
