Ooops, I posted this one in the Help Me ID This forum by mistake, so here it is again...
I'm looking for "Lonesome Cowboy" by Cutting Edge and "Sexbeat" by (I think?) a band called Pump. I'm not sure if either song ever made it off vinyl.
Thanks.

You sure you're not talking about Lonesome Cowboy by Hubert Kah and Sexbeat by Sexbeat? The first starts a deep-voiced monolog and the second lyrics like "some wear leather, some wear lace", etc. [?]

It may have been Hubert Kah, but I'm pretty sure the artist was "Cutting Edge". The lyrics to "Lonesome Cowboy" as I remember them started out with "I wanna be rough, I wanna be tough, I wanna be just like you". The chorus was "I'm a lonesome cowboy, yippie aye ye, yippie aye ye, yippie aye ye". Sound like the same song?
"Sexbeat" might have been by Sexbeat, because Pump doesn't sound like the right band name now that you mention it. I don't remember the intro, but what you posted does sound about right. The lyrics (I think remember) were "... and you're a child of funky, you move like a cat you sex monkey", then the chorus repeated "Sexbeat" over and over again. It may be possible that I have gotten two different songs confused as one though.

Man, now I'm stumped. It doesn't sound like either Sexbeat's Sexbeat or Sex Beat by Gun Club either. Definitely not those lyrics but certainly the "sexbeat sexbeat sexbeat..." repetition.

Yes, you're talking about two different songs. The lyrics you quote ("... and you're a child of funky, you move like a cat you sex monkey") are from the song "Pump" by Sexbeat.
The chorus, "Sexbeat, sexbeat, sexbeat..." is from the song "Sexbeat" by Sexbeat (same band).
