Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for the song Kites that was released as Side B on the U.K. single Breakfast. About a year ago I picked the CD Singles, but the version included in it has nothing to do with what I listened off that single once. It was certainly the most magical piece I ever listened from Associates. It was sentimentally beautiful as it sounded so gloomy and otherworldly with pianos like Budd's drones, vocals that split your heart in two, and keyboard like string arrangements that recalled an utopian culture resisting to be ceased to exist.

The Radio One Sessions Vol 2 cd has a version of Kites that is close ( a few minutes shorter though)to what you are looking for- that is with Billy MacKenzie on lead vocals (as opposed to Christine Beveridge). I don't know that the Breakfast 12" b-side version is available on cd/digitally.

Yes, I know about that release. John Peel Sessions are not definitely a Top of the Pops event, but they were never a substitute for anything... Its got to be that Kites vinyl version.
