In search of.....Industry

I bought the CD Stranger to Stranger by Industry. Who are well known for their hit State of the Nation, as you all would know, great song by the way! Although I was introduced first, to their music, by their song "Still of the night". I saw their video which had them playing in front of one of those "light machines" that you find in a Planetarium. I have found that the album version, which isn't a surprise, is different to the one in the video. Which was a much better version, I thought. Would anyone know about different versions or have some idea about it? I would like to get the better version of the song. The one I have is nowhere as good.
