eight6, love these guys, never heard them before, they sound like a cross between early Dexy's and Makin' Time. Where are they from? UK?

Not to hijack the thread too much, but I'm hoping one of you can help me out. I have an MP3 of "Driving Away from Home (Wicked Weather for Walking)" that is 7m03s long at 256 Kbps (good) but has a blip at the 2:39 mark (bad). I think this version is from the 12" single and has never made it to CD.

The "I Mean After All It's Only 'Dead Man's Curve'" version is the one off the CD (6m29s); this is a good version too but not as well-done as the "Wicked Weather" one.

Would any of you by chance have a clean version of this song? Or can someone help me edit it? I've tried using MP3 direct cut but can't seem to splice anything together.

It's brilliant. "Washing the Air" is so cool. I kinda hear some Stan Ridgway / Wall of Voodoo in their stuff.

Very highly recommended. You can get a used copy at Amazon pretty damn cheap.
