Over the past decade, I've been able to track down pretty much every song from the 80s that I've searched for - but "Chayla" by The Dice has eluded me. My father had it on a 45, and I suspect that this is the only format that it was released in. Do any Canadians here on the board have it?

Actually, there is one other obscure Canadian tune that I'm looking for, and that's 'Guido' by the Look People. I have a crummy cassette recording made from a CFNY broadcast back in 1989 or so, but wonder if anyone has the real deal.

Pretty sure Chayla is in print.

I don't own a copy of Guido, but here's a copy of the song I lifted from the video posted on Youtube. Unfortunately, it's in mono, and with the compression etc., it's not the greatest sound, but should be better than the copy you've got now.

Thanks so much for that recording of Guido - it's much clearer than the one I had. Such a quirky song!

And thank you for the info about The Dice...I shall keep looking!

If anyone is still interested, I have the actual music video of this exact song. It's on a U-Matic broadcast tape that was used on a music video tv show from the early 80's. I can transfer this to digital real quick and put it up on Youtube if y'all want.
