Truly one of my favorite LPs of the 80s is Space Monkey's On The Beam. The album spawned four singles and enough remixes to choke a goat. With so many mixes, I felt it necessary to compile them all in one place. Aside from all the officially released tracks, I've included two rare Space Monkey demos. "Return" was recorded prior to On The Beam's release, and "Burn It Up" sounds like it had to be recorded for the second Space Monkey album. It sounds sort of like Dead Or Alive's Nude album. Both tracks are great! And here are some Space Monkey Videos to enjoy while you're downloading the whopping 28 tracks!

Wow.....just what I was looking for!

Its just about coming up to the 30th anniversary of the release of Can`t Stop Running.
Although it is official that its reached its highest position on the UK charts in October of 1983.
But I could have sworn I was listening to it in the summer of `83 on Radio Luxembourg.

And the whole story about the complete mess with the record company, getting rid of the original members and replacing them with session musicians from Wham!, including the great Deon Estus, that is told in great detail on their website is quite an interesting read.
