REQ: Those French Girls "Sparkle" & "Chemistry"
Hey everyone,
If you haven't heard em…
Those French Girls - Punching Windows (1982)

Those French Girls - Sorry Sorry (1982)

Now with that out of the way… One of the best albums of the 80's (and easily one of the most underrated) is Those French Girls self titled album from 1982. I love every single song on it. They sound similar to The Vapors, but with different spin. They've been blogged about only twice, that I'm aware of…

The WillfullyObscure post links to a compilation called The Ankle File which features at least one non-LP Those French Girls song. The link to the compilation is dead, and I can't find any information on it.
Apparently, earlier this year, the song was played on KOOP which archives their playlists.

It's also listed on their Last.fm page. Does anyone have this song? I've exhausted all my search options, and I'm desperate to hear it. I'd love to hear the rest of the compilation too (The Ankle File) but "Sparkle" is my priority. Does anyone have this?
Then: and this is big news for me, while searching for "Sparkle" I came across a Youtube video that was only posted a few months ago. It's a music video for a song from Those French Girls called "Chemistry." What?! WTF?? Where the hell did this come from? The sound is terrible, but you can tell the song is great, and the video is amazing. It's great to actually see them for once!

Does anyone know the deal with this song? Did it get released in any way? I need to hear a clear version of it. I love these guys.
If anyone has either of these songs I'll be eternally grateful.
Thanks in advance! And HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Dominik
