SHARE: The Stage Complete Collection (1986)

I'm really in love with this band...

The Stage is Jeremy Williams (Guitar/Lead Vocals) Paul McCracken (Bass Guitar/Vocals) Chris Sykes (Keyboards/Vocals) Jon Rothwell (Drums/Vocals) The UK based quartet released 2 singles on IRS Records in 1986 "Dancing Days" and "Nothing Stranger Than Today." According to a commenter on YouTube, the video for "Nothing Stranger Than Today" won some sort of award. I'd love to see it if anyone's got it! I wish there was more music from these guys, but there's very little information about them on the internet and their names are all fairly generic. Even the band's name is generic. It's worth nothing that "Dancing Days" was released as Stage, and then "Nothing Stranger Than Today" was released as The Stage.

The Stage - Dancing Days

The Stage - Nothing Stranger Than Today

The Stage - I See Love

Here's the tracklist

The Stage - Complete Collection
1. Dancing Days
2. Too Close For Comfort
3. I See Love
4. Nothing Stranger Than Today
5. Kissing At The Station
6. Stop The Time

All the songs are great! Enjoy! and if anyone knows anything about this band, please share. Thanks!

Ohhhhh boy, thanks for this one D500!! I remember finding the "Nothing Stranger Than Today" track many years back and LOVING it! I searched for a while to try and find more from them, but wasn't successful and then I completely forgot about that. Thanks for bringing these obscurities to life again!! :D
