Posted: Sat May 23, 2015 2:39 pmI see that Rock Candy Records is reissuing "Welcome to the Real World" with the extended versions of "Kyrie" and "Broken Wings" as bonus tracks, among others. Aren't the extended versions simply the album versions? I must have missed something. I checked Discogs and see that "Kyrie" was issued in a few different forms: 7" Edit (4:14) (acappella ending), LP Version (4:26) (faded version). However, Discogs also lists an "Edited Version" clocking in at 3:38. I will assume that this version removes the intro to the song. I could be wrong, but I remember hearing this intro-less version on the radio. Perhaps someone can confirm if real "extended" versions exist.
