At long last here are the rare edits that were missing from the previous posts:

Franz Schubert
https://www.sendspace.com/file/fum2mc

Spacelab
https://www.sendspace.com/file/osqii0

Taschenrechner
https://www.sendspace.com/file/nsir85

Hope Fred T will have time and inclination to recreate them in .wav for all us grateful fans! :D

Here are my re-creations of the "Spacelab" and "Taschenrechner" edits, based on the MP3's provided by Passing_Stranger:

Spacelab (Long Edit) 5:08 AIFF format:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/h8ztd3

Taschenrechner (7" Edit) 4:29 AIFF format:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/yt2b9d

Spacelab (Long Edit) 5:08 WAV format:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/239pdv

Taschenrechner (7" Edit) 4:29 WAV format:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/t2mr04

Once again I used the older CD releases for these re-creations because the sound quality is better than the remasters (less noise reduction which, while it eliminated tape hiss on the remasters, it also dulled the overall sound. "Taschenrechner" is from a verified FLAC rip of the German "Computerwelt" CD that I downloaded.

Question for Passing_Stranger: I think I already did the Franz Schubert Edit, didn't I?

Fred, great many thanks to you for your work! :D

And of course - I just checked, you already did Franz Schubert, I just completely forgot about it, sorry.

Well, now, if (when) negative1 will post his rip of Europe Endless then we'll have a complete collection of Kraftwerk b-sides. That'll be most agreeable :D

Thanks elviscaprice, it's a labor of love :-)

Here are my re-creations of the "Europe Endless" and "Trans-Europe Express" 7" Edits based on the MP3s provided by negative1. I am not sure what the sources are (which country) so I didn't specify anything further in tagging the tracks.

While re-creating the "Trans-Europe Express" 7" Edit, I noticed the bit at the end (it features several seconds of "Metal On Metal" during the fade-out) was actually somewhat different from the album version (of "Metal On Metal"). I consulted my "The Model - Retrospective (1975-1978)" CD from 1992 which actually features a few 7" edits, and sure enough, the "Single Mix" of "Trans-Europe Express" on that CD has a slightly differently mixed "Metal On Metal" outro - same as the vinyl 7" rip negative1 provided. So I used the Capitol Records 1995 re-issue of the "Trans-Europe Express" CD for the main body of the 7" Edit but used the "Metal On Metal" outro from the "The Model" CD for the fade-out. I matched the EQ as best as I could to the "Trans-Europe Express" CD which I feel has better overall sound. I also used the 1995 "Trans-Europe Express" CD as the source for the "Europe Endless" edit.

Since the "Single Version" of "Trans-Europe Express" on "The Model" CD is actually a LONGER edit than the one negative1 shared, I also re-created THAT edit and am sharing that one as well (7" Edit 2). That edit does appear to be legit, as many of the 7" singles on discogs list a timing of 3:56....

Thank you, Fred, it's very kind of you to do this :D

The difference in length of TEE edits seems to be that the shorter one is the UK/English language one and the longer is of the German language version. See here: http://discog.info/kraftwerk-discog.html Though I have a vinyl rip of the latter from the bootleg compilation and it's even longer at 4:02! I've included this one in the first folder here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=39297
