Does anyone have the original UK version of Love On Your Side (4:25) as well as the standard 7" in FLAC or high quality mp3 ? Thanks

I was reading somewhere that the longer version was only available in the UK for a short time maybe the initial batch of album pressings back in 1983. It seems that the 2016 version decided to use that rare mix too. Maybe I'm wrong.

According to this site https://www.amoeba.com/quick-step-side- ... s/3817717/ The track length is 03:58. Pity there wasn't a download code for it then we would know for sure.

Discogs users keep copying info from release to release when they submit new ones, and they do not verify/fix/remove every piece of data like they are supposed to.

The first link you posted is the master release page, a grouping of all versions of the album. The way this page works, it just shows images, title & track info about one "key release" at the top of the page. For this master release, the key release is the 1983 UK LP https://www.discogs.com/release/56312-Q ... Side-Kick/ ...for which the original submitter added durations a long time ago without explanation of where they came from or whether he verified them.

The second link you posted is for the 2xLP 2016 reissue which was "copied to draft" from the 2015 yellow vinyl reissue, which was in turn copied from ... guess. OK I'll tell you: the 1983 UK LP.

I would not trust any of the info. I left comments in the edit histories on all three asking for confirmation of the duration of the first track.

There is no 4:25 version of "Love On Your Side", the track time was misprinted.
The UK 'Quick Step And Side Kick' LP is 3:58 and the USA 'Side Kicks' LP is 3:33 (same as the single version).
