Thanks again Ris!!! I never understood why "Barriers" by Tony Martin wasn't a hit! Such a great track!

Hmmm.....a very infectious track......listening to it for the second time in a row now.....and that happens to me very rarely......must be that bass line......sounds so much like Peter Hook to my ears....

.....you wouldnt happen to have the b-side instrumental version as well, would you ?
.....looks impossible to find.....even on soulseek....

You are not the first one thinking that Peter Hook played the bass on it. Unfortunately the sleeve doesn't give a credit to anyone.
But here is the complete single. https://mega.nz/file/Jk5nFBxL#ZN0Z9aeuz ... 160zGZiez4
BTW not my rip.

Thanks Rissan,

Agree with Xymox970, The song / Rif has a total New Order / Peter Hook sound! Dave actually had the record in his collection so I may clean it up one day and share! It totally deserves to be restored!

Cheers

P

:) Thanks so much for the complete 12" Rissan....a beautiful equally long instrumental on the b-side.....so presumably the 7" has the short vocal / instrumental versions as is usually the case.....
