Anyone happen to have the one and only single from The News - "Blue Thru" / "I Will Survive"?
Just saw a recent interview with Sal Solo and he mentioned it, the A-side is on YouTube and that voice is unmistakable.

Got it from the old blog that presented rare records in mp3 with hideous 96 kbps. Would love to get the single in lossless
as "Blue thru" is fantastic, a lost classic.

Thank you very much, U-vox, great rip, very clean! Not too far from Classix musically and even vocally, by the way, maybe a bit "up" for them but otherwise tailor-made for, say, "La verite".

This is my 2 guesses.
"Blue Thru" (True Blue) is a reference to a person who is loyal to the British Conservative Party.
It might be a song about Margaret Thatcher.
Or
It just might be about a depressive person.
Blue often means a sad depressive mood.
