Any interest in an MP3/320/DR12 to use as a placeholder til a
lossless file comes along?

Yikes. Unreleased for a reason... this instrumental is no better than the kind of results you'd get from a vocal removal algorithm or an AI-based stems creator. Better than nothing, maybe, but I think it depends on how drunk your audience is.

Aside from MP3 encoding artifacts, it has phase issues, and the hi-hats and claps are smeared and distant. There's also a loud bass synth note on the 1s and 3s in the vocal sections that shouldn't be there; maybe it's a scratch or guide track for the vocalist.

Oh geez, I missed the mp3 upload. Would you mind re-uploading? Sorry for the extra work. Thanks.

@PKPN

Thanks for taking the time to analyse my measley little 6mb mp3 file.
Your unsolicited critique is a tad too ocd for me personally, but others may
find it of value.

@sean

Here is the file again, because you asked so graciously (and to
spite PKPN, of course.)

Yes, it wouldnt be any worse than creating your own using something like iZotope RX 9 .

The link that freshy provided seems about the best around.
