This is from the 2006 Penthouse and Pavement, one of the digital only tracks that I think hasn't appeared on any of the big compilations. If it has appeared on them, or is the wrong version, please let me know and I will remove this.

Sorry to say, but that mix is not the original one as released on vinyl back in 1981 - for whatever reason, no CD or download re-issue, including the box set from a few years back, has ever got it right. Full 7” complete with BEF Ident at the end: 4’08” / without the BEF Ident: 3’31”

The track time for IYM looks similar, but not sure if it is the original single version. It's definitely not a truncated version of the 12 inch. I'll post it here if there is any interest.

I have that compilation - the version of ‘I’m Your Money’ on disc 1 is not the original 7” mix either - it is the same mix as previously discussed and which also appears on;
Download-only track on the 2006 ‘Penthouse & Pavement’ re-issue
‘The Virgin Years’ box set, disc 1.

The other mix that is often listed as the 7” mix, but isn’t, is on the following compilation CDs;
‘Higher and Higher - The Best of Heaven 17’ from 1993
‘Greatest Hits’ Sight & Sound CD/DVD set from 2006

5:15. thanks for letting me know on the I'm Your Money version. I hate when songs are mislabelled, especially when there are (almost) complete reissues of the catalog.

This is the original 7" version; it does fade out.
