Wanted to reach out to the community to see if anyone had this compilation of New Wave bands from North Carolina? Thanks in advance.


Compilation of mostly North Carolina bands released by Dolphin records. The most well-known artist is Mitch Easter's band Let's Active, although his R.E.M. producing partner Don Dixon shows up as part of different combos (Arrogance, and The Texas Toads). Let's Active's "Room With A View" is a good song, but the best track is "(I'm a lookin' for a) Sputnik" by Rick Rock. A second compilation with a similar theme called _More Mondo_ was released two years later.
