SHARE NEW: The Continuous Beauty Of The Unknown 80s Vol. 1

Postby Rissan » Fri Apr 12, 2024 3:07 am

I remember telling you and myself i didn't want to copy myself.

This is what I wrote when starting the Topographic Tales Of the 80s at the end of January: "I took your words in mind, when I finished the Unknown Beauty Of The 80s series last year.
I could have continued with a new series with more unknown stuff from the 80's but that meant copying myself, which was out of order, although I still archive tracks for a possible continuation, since the power of blood is not to be resisted."

Well the new series is three volumes en route and here we are with a new series, basically the same design, but under a different name.
The Unknown Beauty Of The 80s will continu under the moniker The Continues Beauty Of The Unknwn 80's.

The past months when searching for topographic tracks of the eigthies i stumbled upon a lot of new music which I could not present in the new series, simply because most was just 320Kbps MP3 format.
At first I archived the tracks as I had done in the past, but since the folder expanded to rapidly, I felt compelled to present it to you.

Here we go again. I present you Volume 1 of The Continues Beauty Of The Unknown 80s. I don't have a planned schedule so the followup Volumes will appear randomly.
But be sure this won't end after just one volume.

Please note, this in NO way is intended to take away sales from any of the artists included here but rather a way
to discover or rediscover these timeless masterpieces.
Please support these bands if they should have material available! They deserve all the credit!
Up for one week.

Not being a native English speaker, I would nevertheless dare to point at the title of this new series - to me, gramatically correct would be CONTINUING or CONTINUED. Would you agree??

Yeah, the title doesn't really make sense right now. "Continued" will be right grammatically while "Further Beauty" will look better as part of a title. Also, there's no apostrophe in 1980s! Why does everyone keeps making that annoying mistake? It's not Eightie's, it's Eighties, for God's sake! That applies to previous and successive decades too.

I thought this was about music, but it seems to become more of an english class.
So thank you for mentioning, I have changed the title and hope this is better and solves it.

Now continue with the music and not the fussiness about language issues.
