I don't think this is the same group. This group called the Cats had one Lp released in the U.S. in 1980 on the Elektra label. It Doesn't Matter Anymore got quite a bit of airplay on the Detroit rock stations. Synthpop with guitars and a fairly edgy sound. Quite good in fact. They must have faded into obscurity after that Lp.
