Hi
I'm new to the group and wondering if anyone has "Nik Nak Paddy Wak" by "The Snowmen" in any format for trade or sale? Also, is there a full length Snowmen lp or cd?
Grateful for any info.

Marie3!
Could you send it my way, too??? [:)]
Another great WLIR novelty!!!
Snowmen info (which I believe to be correct): I believe they were an Ian Dury project (that should be his voice singing), and I believe they released a bunch of 7" singles... but I could be wrong.

Thank you so much!! I've been looking for this song for a long time, wanted it since 1986 when it was a screamer of the week on WLIR. Just joined this group today and now have the song, wow! Let me know if there are any mp3s I might send your way.[8D]

Thanks also for that info, I'll search for Ian Dury. I have Hokey Cokey and saw a medley with Auld Lang Syne which is probably another single. What I've heard is really fun and feel good stuff.

Their big hit over here was 'Hokey Cokey' which reached the top 20. However the follow-up released a year later 'Xmas Party' barely reached the top 50. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Ian Dury on vocals though he did deny being involved with the project

The Snowmen was NOT an Ian Dury project (although the vocalist does sound like him). They were session musicians. There was a CD compilation of their greatest "hits" ("Party Album") but it did not include "Nik Nak Paddy Wak."
