Voice Farm are one of my favorite SF bands. THeir debut LP The World We Live In was great, although their follow-ups were less and less edgy. Apparently they used to perform wearing different costumes at each show - Vegas lounge act, drag queens, housewives, hippies, drugged-out celebrities, etc and bring along a dance troupe called Oblong Rhomba. They fit squarely in with the rest of the SF art rock/synth groups of the time. Anyway, here's Sleep:

Never heard this Sleep song before -- sounds like the singer is trying to channel David Byrne circa 1977.
