It seems that the French New Wave Scene had a plethora of amazing icy/coldwave trax. Here is a fantastic song by a group called Baroque Bordello. Unfortunately it is an edited version, and a very short edited version at that. I'd love to find a full length version of this song. I'm sure its out there somewhere! Enjoy...

Demised, Yep thats what I was looking for. Thanks for posting, and I enjoyed the Charles De Goal track as well. I'm really digging the French new wave sound, and am looking to dig up some more French new wave rarities. Thanks again!

Although the track linked in the thread below isn't icy/cold or darkwave - it's a great french punk/power-pop gem from Edith Nylon. Excellent song if you're into that kind of stuff!
