Boys Brigade

Boys Brigade was a Canadian band back in the early 80s. I think they only had one album and it was just that, a vinyl (perhaps cassette too). I have never been able to find their music on CD or on P2P.

Anyway, I am looking for any of their music. Songs I am most interested in are:

The Passion of Love
Melody

Cheers

I apologize ahead of time if there's any vinyl noise. These were taken off a fairly good copy though

Passion of Love

I think this is their best song:
Into the Flow

Did you know they were produced by Geddy Lee of Rush?

Actually mudpout, Melody is available on the Hardest Hits Vol. 5 CD, and is still fairly available. Not sure Passion of Love made it to CD.

Wow, how did I miss that!!??! I looked right at it. As far as I know Vol. 2 is still available, but you'll have to work to find one.

Very nice, thank you very much.

Nope, I did not know Geddy Lee was involved in producing them.

I see those songs actually did make it to CD.

Thanks again.

As a thank you and to try out yousendit.com, here are a couple of tracks from Vancouver based synth-rockers Strange Advance. They did go Gold in Canada. I personally really like the sone The Second That I Saw You.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the tracks and Happy Holidays.

mudpout,

Thanks for posting "The Second That I Saw You". In replacing my vinyl and cassettes, I'd totally forgotten about that track. Strange Advance was excellent, my favourite track was "She Controls Me".

Mine was "I'll Be the One to Cry."

Totally agree with Wolverine that "Into the Flow" was the highlight of Boys Brigade's album. Two songs buried as album cuts when they should have been singles. Although I thought just about anything on Boys Brigade's album could have been a single, except for, ironically, "Melody."

Malcolm Burn released a solo lp after the breakup of Boys Brigade titled "Redemption". Apparently, it sank like the Titanic: too bad as there were a couple of good songs on that lp, here's one of them.
