I guess it all depends on what shape your vinyl is to start, and what kind of sound you are looking for as an end product. But for the price (and for merely digitizing vinyl), it looks to be a decent deal.

Are there any that can also transfer audio cassettes to cd?

This is just an 00's equivalent of those junky 'all in one' compact stereos I have seen since the 1970's sold by Crown, Emerson, Lafayette Panasonic, Radio Shack, Sanyo, Zenith, etc..

The present day Teac is a junk brand, nothing like its 70's namesake (and others like Aiwa, Sansui, Pioneer) that were known for their high quality consumer audio components like Reel to Reels, and receiver-amps.

Save your $399.99 and get a new or used Dual, Numark, Pioneer, Stanton, Technics, Thorens, etc.. TT on ebay (or from someone right here at NWO!)
Plus you'll need a pre-amp (which you can get at J&R or Radio Shack)

Freddy Fender?!?!? W T F. If my grandfather wasn't dead and buried for over fifteen years, I'd swear he ordered that crap.

I have a Pioneer hooked up to my stereo - works beautifully after 6 years & would probably cost about the same as the all-in-one.
The only thing I'm not crazy about is the recording level monitor - it's lcd & doesn't have a lot of leeway. Other than that - no complaints - it's great to get all those old lps on disc.
