Sounds very familiar doesn't it? I remember playing this one in the clubs around '80, '81.

Cover of "White Lines" by Grandmaster Flash? Hmm, what's the relation between these?

Since when was a rap song ever 'original'?

That was not cool Cleverblue...sure rap songs now rip off of lots of songs but there is oringinal Rap just like there is original New Wave.

That is what I meant. Of course rap songs themselves can be original. But rap music has always been based on taking the music from other songs. I don't think there is anything wrong with that. But using another song for your own song inherently makes it somewhat un-original. [:I]

This is an interesting musical footnote. I thought White Lines was original. Of course, guess not.
You listen to this Liquid Liquid song and expecting to hear "FREEBASE!"

Liquid Liquid is fantastic.
I still have some 12" of them. Funny enough DIG, WE MUST is never seen on eBay or any cd-collection. Great 12".
Unfortunately my good ol' turntable canb only play slow. 45 is too much for the ol'beast. [xx(]
