I'm looking for "Here Comes The Chorus" by Morris Minor and the Majors. The frontman for this short-lived novelty band, Tony Hawks, was also a regular on the British series Red Dwarf...he played Rimmer, I believe. The song is a parody of Stock/Aitken/Waterman pop hits of the late '80s, ala Kylie Minogue and Mel & Kim. It's fantastic. I had an mp3 of it a long time ago, but it cut the last minute or so of the song off. Anyone have a complete version in mp3 format?

Not bad, if not quite up to the level of the immortal <a href="http://www.mikefs.co.uk/HBGB.html">Hee Bee Gee Bees</a> when it comes to "we can't write a top 10 song, but we can sure make fun of those that deserve it."

Althought to be fair to Morris Minor & the Majors, Stutter Rap (No Sleep 'Til Bedtime), did make the top 10 in 1988.

As for the HeeBeeGeeBees, they beat Weird Al to the punch and I never even knew it. I wish they'd have posted tracks from their second album, because it parodies some New Wavy artists. "Are Trains Electric?", by Gary Inhuman. Now that's a good one. Anyone got any of these ripped to mp3? I hope these albums get reissued on CD.
