Six tracks from the Vancouver band, Moev, two from three albums.

Took Out the Lace</a>
from "Dusk and Desire" [1986 Nettwerk, CA; W2 30001]
(Sea-Missile Motel is the same version as on the 12" and Took Out the Lace is a radio remix. The original form of the album was never released on CD.)

Wanting</a>
from "Yeah, Whatever" [1989 Atlantic, US; 7 81950 2]

Noise</a>
from "Head/Down" [1990 Nettwerk, CA; W2 30047]

All three albums sound rather different, starting off with electro pop, then almost body music, and then kind of a darker pop (produced by John Fryer). Mind you, their lineup fluctuated a lot over the years. I use to think "Yeah, Whatever" was their best album but later on, in the mid-nineties, I found myself enjoying "Head/Down" more. I hate to use this term, but their sound really *matured* with Head/Down. Sarah McLachlan does some backing vocals. Hope you enjoy [:)].

People would love it if you would share more from Yeah, Whatever...

Crucify Me is, of course, a classic. The video turned up alot on a local music show here in Denver and at dance clubs.

Chairman (12" mix) is excellent.

If you can track it down, the "Suffer" single (from 1999) is a nice EBM release.

I wish the US/George Maniatis version was available on CD though. It's much better than the original 12" version.

I managed to find Suffer several months back but didn't really care for it, although I probably only listened to it twice.
