Ok, not really new wave but cool nevertheless. Check out this reworked Elvis Presley track from the Louisiana Hayride recordings. The original music has been stripped and re-recorded by Slim Jim Phantom and Lee Rocker of the Stray Cats. The result? Elvis becomes the lead singer of the Stray Cats. This is from a 6 track release called "Good Rockin' Tonight". Play it loud.
